Moving Forward...

If I had the power to turn back time
It would be to when our friendship was just fine
Never will I have that power for it wouldn’t be right
People wouldn’t have regrets and people wouldn’t fight
Without these aspects our world would seem so fake
We wouldn’t have challenges and we wouldn’t learn from our mistakes
Fate can be good, however it can also be bad,
It can make some people very happy and others very sad
Some things happen in life and we can’t figure out why
Sometimes they can seem so unfair that all we want to do is cry
We can often be caught up in nothing but confusion
This inevitably leads to problems and also disillusions
Forgiving someone is not always the easiest of tasks
It can sometimes mean swallowing your pride and taking of your mask
Healing does take time for the heart to repairIt can often mean finding happiness,
whilst still holding on to that despair
In this situation people are only holding onto a forgotten past
This seems pointless, why make the pain last?
By forgiving someone you are putting your predicament behind you
Thus closing an old door and starting anew

Mixed Emotions

inside I'm crying

outside I'm smiling
no one notices
but its hard for me to control this
when you see me walk by
it doesn't look like it but I want to cry
thoughts racing through my head
then comes the tears that I shed
how can I change
all the tears and rage
you say you understandand
all I need is a helping hand
that may be true
but first take a walk in my shoes
sadness, angers, and unbearable pain
you'll be taking a walk full of nothing but shame

Believe In Your Heart

I woke up one night in the hours of darkness,
I sat up straight in my bed to find a shimmering light in my closet,
But their where no lights on in the room,
I got up and went slowly toward the closet,
To find a pair of gold wings,
An angel was standing by my side,
“What do I do with these gold wings?”
 I asked the angel“Put the wings on my child.”
Answered the angel put the wings on flew to a place that had many stars,
The angel then appeared and said, “Follow your heart, your goals and your dreams.
”Only you know what is right for you Anything is possible
Miracles do come true,
Hope and dreams are a reality if let them be,
Life can be wonderful if you let it be.

Letting Go..

 I am feeling a whole lot better,
Than I was the other day,
Thank you for your help,
That is what I want to say,

 Brought me round to thinking,
That what I did was wrong,
Although we are not talking,
You still helped me get along,

I want you to know I am sorry,
I mean it from my heart,
For every stupid thing I did,
To make us drift apart,

I care about you very much,
You will always be a part of me,
I will make something of myself,
Now you just wait and see,

 I will keep on dreaming,
That I meant something to you,
For this does give me comfort,
And it helps to get me through,

I am such a pain in the ****,
But I will try my very best,
To let you get on with your life,
And give you a bit of rest,

Remember all my good points,
If there are any that you know,
Please forget all the bad ones,
Before you turn away and go,

I know that you have left me,
I cannot promise not to cry,
But I do love you my friend,
I guess this is my last goodbye.
